rest.rgd.mcw.edu Review:

RGD - Rat Genome Database - The Rat Genome Database houses genomic, genetic, functional, physiological, pathway and disease data for the laboratory rat as well as comparative data for mouse and human. The site also hosts data mining and analysis tools for rat genomics and physiology.

  • http://rest.rgd.mcw.edu/wg/tool-menu Analysis & Visualization - Rat Genome Database - RGD provides a variety of tools to search and analyze both the data within RGD and data generated from rat research in the lab. The list below identifies the major tools provided at RGD.
  • http://rest.rgd.mcw.edu/wg/portals/ RGD Disease Portals - Rat Genome Database - RGD disease portals are designed to be entry points for researchers to access data and tools related to their area of interest.
  • http://rest.rgd.mcw.edu/wg/physiology Phenotypes & Models - Rat Genome Database - Welcome to the Phenotypes & Models Portal within RGD. This portal contains data related to rat strains and phenotypes, as well as essential information for conducting physiological research, identifying disease models, and community forums for gathering feedback from the scientific community.
  • http://rest.rgd.mcw.edu/wg/general-search Search RGD - Rat Genome Database - he RGD site search allows users to find objects in RGD based on keyword or position information. Over 8.5 million terms have been ranked and indexed to return Genes, QTLs, Strains, Markers, References, and Ontology terms.
  • http://rest.rgd.mcw.edu/wg/grants Grant Resources - Rat Genome Database - More rat-related grants are good news for all of us so we're assembling some information and other resources that might be of help as you plan and write your grants. This is certainly a work in progress so please feel free to contact us with more suggestions and requests for ways in which RGD can help you in your grant writing.
  • http://rest.rgd.mcw.edu/wg/about-us About RGD - Rat Genome Database - The Rat Genome Database is a collaborative effort between leading research institutions involved in rat genetic and genomic research. Its goal, as stated in RFA: HL-99-013 is the establishment of a Rat Genome Database, to collect, consolidate, and integrate data generated from ongoing rat genetic and genomic research efforts and make these data widely available to the scientific community. A secondary, but critical goal is to provide curation of mapped positions for quantitative trait loci, known mutations and other phenotypic data.

  • carolinaautoguy - Does not work on rust stains.

I was trying to remove fresh rust stains from vinyl siding and concrete. I might have well just rinsed it off with a hose. There was no change in the amount, size or color of the rust stain. I soaked, I used a scrub brush, I blotted with a wrag and no difference.

  • Josh - Can't beat it for the price

Its not as good as the full professional version that will cost you $1,000+ but it is pretty close and for the price (I think I got it for $30ish at the time) you just cant beat it. I am familiar with Chief Architect and lose using it to design renovations or small projects. If you are familiar with Chief Architect and don't want to spend ridiculous money on the full version get this

  • Senior Moment - At first I was skeptical

When I first saw this advertised I decided to give it a try and bought a 4 ounce bottle. It worked so well at quelling the arthritis pain in my foot and back that I ordered a 9 ounce bottle. Shop around for a good price.

  • MARILYN - Barbie Collector 2012 Holiday Doll

Bought this for my six year old grand daughter, whose into Barbie dolls right now. Thought she would start collecting them as a hoppy but she had the doll out of the box and playing with it before I could say anything.

  • Donna - Good replacements

Nice looking. Not like the originals but cost a fraction of the price. So far they have stayed on which is better than some of the cheaper replacements I have tried.
