This was a curiosity as I have always just worn pearl as jewelry and never actually tried it on my face. I figure it wasn't harmful because it's a natural product. I DO have some dullness around my cheek area maybe because of too much sun I don't know. All I can say is, this product is great. I could tell the pearl is in there as it has this pearlescent quality to the liquid that's packed in there. I felt really good with it on too. I totally recommend it to anyone.
