At least this switch lights up... But only when it's on . Wish it was illuminated constantly to see in the dark.
It's not often that all the elements of a good read come together, however in Kendra Elliot's Hidden they most definitely do. She has written a suspense thriller that makes you think you know 'whodunit' while you are eagerly devouring every page, but don't get too smug in your assumptions! Every character from the female protagonist to the most minor player is well fleshed out, a rarity in many books. It's a treat to have a heroine who doesn't wake up in the morning with every hair in place, mascara still on her lashes, and Scope-scented breath. It's easy to imagine each of these folks having a real life outside of the constraints of their pages. The plot is realistic, the action moves the plot forward, and I'm hoping Jack Harper puts himself in my path soon! I'm an avid reader, six to eight books a week easily, and its very rare that i rave over a book. Kendra Elliot is most definitely in my short list of authors whose books I will order without reading a summary. I've already preordered Chilled and will be haunting the front door till the UPS man hands it to me. Treat yourself to a can't-put-down read ASAP.
It's a nice item with a good picture, however, we were unable to use it on our 2500HD. The viewing mirror could not clip to our existing mirror. I haven't had time to follow up with some kind of adaptor.
This book was not only boring but very poorly written. Filled with typos and misspellings, but worst of all the ridiculously long run on sentences. Most sentences had no less than 25 words in them. By the time I finished a sentence , I could no longer remember what it was supposed to be about. It read like a long, very bad tabloid rumor -mongered story. Most annoying to me was that "I Love Lucy" was written as 7 Love Lucy or / Love Lucy....no reason given, so I'm just assuming this was typos of the worst kind!
I have to say that this is a great waffler. I have used a recipe that is as runny as whole milk and have used Krusteze (i can spackle walls with this stuff) thick as can be mix--this waffler makes perfect waffles every time. Easy to set up, easy to understand, easy to use and looks both retro and modern at the same time. Can't really complain. It is also as easy or as difficult to clean as any other waffler--all depends on your dilligence.P.S. I do believe that it makes the THICKEST waffles on the market--great to fill up crevices with jams and you don't need to keep adding syrup as you eat, the dimples are so deep that you can actually...well you get the picture. Happy eating.
