I got the distinct impression that Arnie put considerable time and effort into this very enjoyable book. It is definitely not something written by a ghostwriter that he just signed off on.
I bought this cable for my two-year-old daughter in the hopes that it would help bring her out of her shell a bit (she's very shy). Little did I know, this cable has an unexpected "feature". As soon as my daughter began to use the cable, it almost instantly stole her soul and replaced it with the soul of a perverted southeast asian pedicab driver named, "Bô Lemon". Bô will berate your parenting skills for about twenty minutes in what sounds like Thai, and then collapse exhausted into a heap, fast asleep. The manufacturer hasn't gotten back to me yet about whether or not this will be permanant, but even if not, this should have been clearly printed on the packaging, instead of in the fine print on page 44 of the user's manual.
This is the first Uppababy stroller I've owned, and given that this is the new model, I hope this is an isolated issue, but since there are 2 other Amazon reviews saying the same thing, it clearly needs to be addressed. The front wheels shake and rattle when walking at a normal pace, and only roll properly when the stroller is pushed slowly or on indoor surfaces. It doesn't matter if there is weight at the back of the stroller or not, they still shake. So frustrating. I've contacted Uppababy and was asked to send video, which I have done. I hope to hear back and will update here when I do.
I originally purchased these for my twin 4 year old sons to use at their big brother's Nerf birthday party. They were very excited about them, and I like the overall design and the fact that there are only three darts for them to worry about (read: shoot at me at one time. I can easily retaliate before they have time to reload). The only bummer was, the way you have to pull down on the bottom of the gun to prime it, was a little difficult for them. They aren't wimpy little guys either, but it required a little more strength and grasping ability than they possessed. As we have had them a little longer, they are getting more adept at using them, one of them managed to sneak up on their big brother last week, which they were fairly excited about. These guns have been left outside for days on end, and so far still work just fine. My husband just found one hidden in the weeds he was weed eating, and with the exception of fading from the sun, it still worked. Some of the other, more expensive guns we have had in the past warped from the sun and wouldn't shoot properly. All in all, I think these are a great little toy for the younger crowd, just be forewarned you may be asked repeatedly to help them at first.
My husband loved this shampoo when we went to a posh hotel and as an anniversary gift tracked down 3 bottles. Made his day.. Thank you.
